Moving Pictures

In 1960 television was first introduced to New Zealand. It is a telecommunication medium for transmitting and receiving moving images. In the olden days, television had no colour only black and white. Television works  by tricking our eyes and brain.

Television was not invented by just one inventor, it took many inventors to make this magnificent creation which is used all over the world by millions of people. Some people think that television is magic but it isn’t, it is actually  just still pictures that flickers on your screen which makes it look like it is moving. Back in the days people changed the channels by using a remote that controls the television, but nowadays we can use our voice to control the volume and the channels. Children everywhere are able to learn new things in the comfort of their homes.

Everyday inventors try to invent more and more technology that will help us to make our lives easier and faster, but remember that technology isn’t everything, there is more to life than just sitting in front of the television.

I like your report because you mentioned how television changes over-time.
